This section is about “non-conforming freely,” which begins by getting in touch with and listening to your own intuition, listening to the Holy Spirit, your inner guide, and practicing “spiritual sovereignty,” to use a term recently coined on social media, or following your common sense. Authenticity is the opposite of conformity, of following popular opinion and trends, especially those so rampant on social media. The danger of “gaslighting” is that it is a direct enemy of authenticity, of knowing, deep within yourself, what is right and wrong, what is true, what you need to do and to be. You are the only person who can be you. Sometimes being authentic is scary and risky. But it’s what makes life worth living, and it’s also how we make the world a better place.
